Kael walked down into his new home it had been many months since he had been outside of the haul of a Catani ship he was kept prisoner for months being tourcherd and beaten. All they wanted was the location of the remaining fleet that had attacked the Catani fleet with some success but ultimate failure. Kael walked down scars over most of his chest and back from there whips. Kael wandered through the village looking around at the others who looked like they were starving. Kael had the tattoo to symbolize the Rebuscar Military and his rank as Lieutenant. As Kael walked through he saw a lot of traders who had been a very vital part of the attack on the Catani fleet while the military had the power ships the traders had the small quick and agile who were able to do some serious damage on there fleet.
Kael thoughts soon drifted to his brother who he hadn't heard from since he was captured. He hoped his brother had escaped the day of the attack on Rodic. He moved to a large tent which had the symbol of the Rebuscar military. Kael walked in and looked around at the low ranking soldiers. "Evening boys" Kael said many of the soldiers where form his platoon back on rodic. His soldiers jumped up quickly and saluted. "No need for that lads we have much to discus and i need a new Sargent" Kael said as he sat down and moved over to the table to Discus battle plans and escape tactics.

Ydari looked out on the Icero encampment, his thoughts drifting listlessly as he turned to face the table in front of him. The bare bones of a gun lay on it, the working components not yet manufactured into anything that could be fired as of yet. The Rodic native shrugged inwardly to himself before stepping outside, putting his project on hold for a few minutes. As he did so he did a double take, watching the figure of Kael striding over to the remnants of his platoon. As he ventured closer he overheard what was being said before shaking his head grimly. Ydari stepped up behind the slightly shorter man and withdrew its gun from its holster, placing the chamber against the back of Kael’s head. Ydari: I wouldn’t bother moving just yet unless you want a plasma discharge ripping through your skull. You know friend, you shouldn’t be so obvious about your intentions to escape. There are plenty of people on this goram rock that would use this to their advantage. Just look at those Syanasi scum just waiting to tell the Catani about something like this. And yet here you are talking about escape tactics openly. Whatever happened to you Kael? You seem to have forgotten the Rebuscar tradition.Kael recognized the voice currently lecturing him but he dared not turn around with the gun still placed against the back of his head. Ydari removed the gun and put it back in its holster as he stepped forwards. He looked into his brother’s eyes and shook his head once more. Ydari took a seat at the table, pushing another man out of the way as he stared into his brother’s eyes. Ydari: Don’t give me that look. Being in the army has made the grey matter in your head slow. Don’t you think that after being tortured like that for scraps of information that the Catani would use the flimsiest of reasons to haul you back in and go for round two? Being in the army has corrupted you. I tried to teach you to keep your wits about you, not let your enemies see your hand. And before you turn that discerning tone on me, there are ways to escape. You just need to be subtle about it. Keep your ear to the ground and gather as much information and resources you can. I would have thought you would have learned that in the army.Kael looks slightly shocked at his brother’s callousness and lack of reaction after seeing him for so long. Ydari merely ignores it as he draw’s his brother and his men in closer to talk surreptitiously. Ydari: Well, you want to know what my ideas are I’m guessing. So instead of sitting here and reprimanding you, we can work together but we have to do this quietly. No more of this open conspiracy crap. I know of a Syanasi who leads a gang and rumour has it that he’s building a weapon. One we could borrow for a few days. But I must stress if you repeat your performance here you won’t have to worry about the Catani and people will probably be digging your body out of the nearest sand dune within a week.TBC

"Nice to see you two brother" Kael said as he smirked and looked at his brother "You really think I'm stupid enough to speak openly about what's really going on. Brothers Ive spent the past decade in the military in not only infantry but scout/sniper training as well and I'm well aware that the Catani have our camp and every other camp on this desolate rock under surveillance but undercover operatives." Kael said as he looked around at the 15 men standing around the table "Boys this is my older brother Ydari in my absence hes in command and his orders are to be followed to the letter".
Kael looked at his brother's eyes "And the Syanasi scum don't think ill be taking my eyes of them you no better then me they will sell out there own kind just to save there own skin well at least for a little bit longer" Kael said with anger in his voice. "So tell me what's this weapon the Syanasi are building and why is it them and not us everyone knows our people can make weapons and Armour out or practically nothing" Kael said softly "And then well see if what I'm really planning is safer then your plan Ydari".

Ydari smiles, his careworn features abruptly hardening at the display of outward affection from the older man. The Rebuscan is all business again, standing up and walking a step or two back from the table. Kael’s platoon looks at the newcomer suspiciously, not sure whether this man can be trusted. Ydari looks at his smaller brother again, not quite believing that in all the myriad of outcomes to their respective wars they he would ever see him again and in such a fashion. Ydari: Good. I was making sure that you had learned the lessons I tried so hard to teach you Kael. It’s good to see that military life didn’t make an honest man out of you; otherwise I would have been very disappointed. As for being second in command Kael, I’d rather not be a member of your ragtag military band. You know me brother, I never sat well with authority and I couldn’t take a back seat. I never could.Ydari smiles once more before turning around and heading back towards his workshop. He can feel Kael’s eyes on his back as he retreats away from the ring of soldiers, all still trying to measure him up. Ydari cared little of what they thought, more looking after his only remaining family but keeping an appropriate distance. He turns around and offers a few more words back to Kael. Ydari: The Syanasi is making a prototype weapon. It’s what we call an open secret around here. His men talk about this great weapon that he is building and that he is going to use it to make himself the second most powerful man on Insidion, outside of the Catani who runs this hell hole. Just do me a favour, whatever you plan on doing, make sure it doesn’t end with you getting a bullet in the back. My workshop is over here if you need anything. As you know Kael, I won’t run away from a fight but I fight by my own rules, and they don’t fall under what you would call military tactics.Ydari nods once more encouragingly before he turns around and walks over to the tent flap that is the rest of his workshop. The tent structure stretches on for quite a way, each part segregated into whatever is being manufactured. The tent itself is the biggest in Icero. Ydari casts one more look over to the Rebuscan soldiers before ducking inside, the eminent sound of metal on metal hammering into the still air after a few seconds of silence. TBC

Kael smiled at his brother "Trust me its not easy to forget what you taught me the military tried to get it out of my head but failed many times" Kael watched his brother walk over to his workshop "I'm going to talk with my brother about weapons" Kael walked into his brothers workshop wanting to talk about this weapon "Brother how have you been this past decade?. Also what other information can you offer about this weapon" Kael asked as he walked into the workshop the smell reminded him off Rodic, Kael took in a deep breathe "Just like home"Kael said smirking softly as he thought of his parents he was unsure if they where alive or dead or worse.

Ydari looks over at Kael wearily, unsure as to how to react to his brother’s presence. He had not been around Kael for so long, the Rebuscan now no longer knew what he could say to him. Ydari had always been disappointed with his decision to join the military, deeming such a profession to be beneath the cunning and guile of the average Asthaugh. There were also so many better ways to wage a war than armed conflict with the enemy. The Rebuscan looked up from his work and looked at his brother’s face, the worn features hinting at a weariness beyond his years, probably having to do with being in so many engagements with the Catani forces and seeing untold horrors. Ydari shrugged at the thought of it before opening his mouth to speak. Ydari: So you’re really set on this fool’s errand. Well I don’t know how well you’ll do but I do know this. The Catani supply ships do not drop more than two metres above the ground so you’ll have a hard time penetrating the shielding with any weapons I can make here. The best approach is to use a grappling hook on the bottom and winch up. Then it’s just a matter of forcing the doors and killing everyone inside with a peashooter made in this dump.Ydari looks slightly annoyed at his brother’s foolhardiness, knowing that he himself would want no part in the venture beyond supplying any weapons and provisions in case Kael went ahead with the plan. Ydari retreated to the back of the workshop and removed a dusty cover. Ydari: There are completed weapons from the scrap materials I have made. The grappling hook is in the far corner. I’d tell you to be careful but you won’t listen to me. Just promise me one thing, if they do catch you, you don’t tell them where you got those guns from.TBC
