Kylar Gwynne
Height: 6 feet 2 inches.
Weight: 290
Gender: Male
Race: Catani
Status: Prison Director.
personality: Does not easily throw away his trust to even his closest circle of friends or associates, he is weary of people around him as well as his surroundings. Seems some what of a patient man and listens to other points of view before making up his own mind. Natural leader with a gift of the gab so to speak. Can be somewhat strict about his beliefs and ideology.
Character Bio:
Raised by a strict family and taught from a young age that the Catani are the superior of other races. His father being a devoted man of the military, it was only natural that he followed the same path. Not long after reaching adulthood something deeply affected him leaving long term results. Kylar won't say to anyone what it was, but it did change his out look on life. Once of the acceptable age he was sent to military school where he excelled in leadership and tactics as well as knowledge of Catani history. It wasn't long before he quickly made his way through the various ranks with his IQ and uncanny ability to know exactly what to say and when and how to say it. After serving with honor for most of his young adult life he was sent home for rest and relaxation courtesy of a guerrilla ambush which left him with an obvious limp and some fresh scars to brag about. His injury to his leg stopping him from returning to the front line of war Kylar used his influence and rank to attain his new status as a Prison Director in a brand new prison which houses not only the riff raff of the universe, but also a variable zoo of conquered races around the universe.
Tallack Atorak
Height: 6”5
Weight: 310
Gender: Male
Race: Catani. Believed to be of Syanasi descent also.
Status: Captain of Catani Guard; Torturer; Stronghold on Insidion
Personality: Abrupt, close minded and cruel. Very aggressive and has short temper. He is characterised as having outbursts of anger when things do not go as he wants them too. He sometimes takes his frustrations out on the guards under his command or by torturing prisoners held for questioning.
Character Bio:
Started out life as not knowing his mother but one of the more common theories is that she was a prostitute, namely done so to purposely annoy him and get under his skin. However it is firmly believed that he has some form of Syanasi ancestry, thus explaining his slightly deformed Catani traits. All discussions of Tallack’s heritage are taboo, especially in his presence as keeps his personal life closely guarded. He likes to think of himself as an Elite Catani and fully supports the Catani war. His father was a pacifist and Tallack believed him to be a coward. On his eighteenth birthday Tallack got into a vicious argument with his father who led to his brutal stabbing and murder. Tallack afterwards became little more than a killer for hire, being used by the more unsavoury members of society. One day a Colonel in the Catani army used his services and saw Tallack’s potential, eventually enlisting him. He was immediately deployed in the engagement on the Chinii homeworld where his squadron was responsible for capturing the ruling elite of the Chinii and he was promoted as a result. After the Catani take over his talents in torturing prisoners and extracting information were seen first-hand and so he was drafted to Insidion where he quickly gained notoriety and yet more promotions, being given complete autonomy over how to conduct tortures in the Stronghold.
Tyrgis
Height: 6”6
Weight: 271
Gender: Male
Race: Chinii/Apelido
Status: Prisoner
Personality: Is conflicted between the more animalistic side of his persona and the Apelido implants that grant him greater intelligence and dexterity. Physically strong and believes primarily in a gun ho approach. However can be careful and considered when he needs to be, using his enhanced IQ to bear when needed.
Character Bio:
Tyrgis was born on the Chinii homeworld of Chalye where he had a reasonably normal life. After the Catani invaded he was quickly captured after his tribes tries to fight the technologically superior Catani. He and fourteen other Chinii prisoners were placed on a small transport vessel en route to a holding facility. On the way three Apelido ships opened fire and destroyed the ship, resulting in the deaths of half of the prisoners on board. The Apelido found the remaining survivors and used Apelido robotic implants to heal their wounds and to replace damaged tissue. This resulted in Tyrgis’ IQ to be increased by 190 points and he found that he was able to communicate in four different languages and had an intimate knowledge of computer systems. This contrasted with his Chinii nature and large size. He agreed to join other Apelido on a raiding party deep into Catani space where he was captured by the Catani once more and shipped to Insidion. Due to his Apelido implants Tyrgis was kept in the holding cells in the stronghold considerably longer than usual. He was interrogated at great length before being dropped off at Incades. Due to his imprisonment he retained a great deal of knowledge about the stronghold’s guard rotations and computer network, possessing a lot of information that could prove useful to escape. As such most prisoners regard Tyrgis as an asset and even the resident gangs leave him be.
