The Devigun people are one of the innocent victims caught in the onslaught of the Catani war machine, their people had not even ventured beyond their own planet before the Catani invaded to plunder their planet for its bountiful resources to fuel their endeavours of conquest. The people of this world tried to resist for as long as they could… but they neither had the numbers or the technology to mount an adequate defence.
Whatever was left of their species has now been sold all of to warlords as slaves… those foolish enough to resist have now found themselves on Insidion to be used as cannon founder among the other races of the galaxy.
Appearance: A typical Devigun stands between 5 and just a little over 6 feet tall, can weigh any were from 190 to over 300lbs depending on muscular development. With the men noticeably taller and heavier than the women. The men are normally clean shaven or have neatly trimmed facial hair…they generally dislike having rough hair on their faces. Their skin can range from nearly black to ghostly pale, the Devigun run the gamut in terms of physical appearance.
Relations: The Devigun are often looked down upon by members of the other races who few them as primitive and inferior. However this would be a general assumption and there are those who have grown to respect their courage, valor and indomitable will.
Government: The Devigun government was constantly in a state of flux, with new ideas and leader always coming to the fore. Their society was one based on equality with men and women capable of holding the same positions with in society. Their society was so honour bound on hard work that crime was non-existent, however when the Catani attacked they wiped out all of the political and religious leaders, who could unify the entire population against them.
The Devigun are possibly one of the least technologically advanced race in the system, an they also lack the physical power of some of the other races. However what they lack in power they make up for with courage and indomitable will. Their signature fire arms are classic six-shot double-action with a top break reloading mechanism, the barrel is aligned with a 6 o’clock chamber. They are also skilled swords men, once reaching adulthood each Devigun must forge their own sword.
